AENY was founded as an organization devoted to supporting commercial companies and state and local governments requiring engineering for the design of both ships and providing facilities engineering for landside facilities. Many of our personnel have roots extending to the former and well known Manhattan-based naval architectural firm M. Rosenblatt & Son, Inc.
Our professional engineering consultants are unique in providing services for both ships and facilities. This relationship started years ago when we applied our capability in shipboard electrical and electronics engineering to facility security system design.
From there the quality of our work and our systems experience allowed us to broaden our services to other disciplines.
Our current client base includes a number of shipowners, shipyards, New York City agencies, port authorities, ship museums, and architectural/engineering firms.

AENY is experienced in many aspects of facilities design especially security systems for transportation. We have accomplished design of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and elevators. Our Security Systems work has included CCTV cameras, access control, communication, Intrusion Detection (PIDS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
